My Dear Bahai Sister,

With utmost humility and love in the threshold of His Holiness Bahaullah, I have the honor to make to you known who I am. I am brother to Farukh Lagha, a Persian student girl whom you have patronized.

Several days ago I write Dr. S.I. Moody a letter and asked her of your name and address which she let me [page 2, left side of image 143] know by a letter in my answer. Now with a great pleasure I am writing you this letter in order to express by obligations and thanks to you. Although the expression is beyond my power.

Dr. Moody has written me a lot about you and has let me know that how you have got at the head of contributions to Kappes Memorial Fund, and that how you are eager to [page 3, right side of image 143] have modern school building for girls. I am just thinking that had there not been such dynamic individuals, as you, in the world of humanity how might the world progress, and had there not been such kind patrons, as you are that of my sister, how could we afford to send our sisters to school to let them study.

My sister as well as my brother and my other family have asked me to thank your [page 4, left side of image 142] favor and kindness as far as I can, and express my hearty obligations as much as possible. My sister will write you a letter of thanks afterwards.

I was very glad when I was informed that you together with Mr. Platt and two other friends visited Shaughi Effendi and the Holy Land sometime ago. I am sure you had such a nice time in Haifa. I was there for two days on my way to America.

Sincerely in Service J. Sahihi
