Iran Newspaper (morning paper) dated Monday 29th October 1934.

Dr. Susan Moody died but her name will never be annihilated and will always remain in history. Her life was the example of a prophecy for unification and friendship of East and West. In 1909 she left her native land [illegible] and took up residence in Persia. She spent her life in Persia in curing the sick and she endured much trouble to bring about the progress of women in the East. She had learnt to speak Persian and always preferred to speak Persian over English and always had great love for Persia. She always tried to create a love for Persia between the Americans. Some years ago Dr. Moody returned to America and spent most of her time in travelling in different parts of America and speaking in America about Persia. She had become very frail and oil so her friends requested her to remain in Persia but she replied “No, I must go to Persia to be buried under its soil”
