Ninish Amirkhanian (Stepanian)

Ninish Amirkhanian (Stepanian), daughter of Zabel Sarvarian (Amirkhanian) and Serob Khan Amirkhanian, was born into an Armenian family in Tehran. She eventually married Harutiun (Artin) Stepanian, who was the first academically educated dentist in Iran, according to the family. Their children are Anik, Shakeh, Armen, Samson, Hovsep, and Rostom.

Ninish Amirkhanian (Stepanian), the daughter of Serob Khan Amirkhanian, was born into an Armenian family in Tehran. She studied Sociology at the Sorbonne in Paris and, after her return to Iran, taught French to Qajar princesses, including Furugh al-Dawlah and Taj al-Saltanah. Muhammad ʻAli Mirza, who later became the Shah of Iran, asked her father for her hand in marriage. However, she eventually married Harutiun (Artin) Stepanian, who was the first academically educated dentist in Iran according to the family.
