Shakeh Stepanian (Abdalian)
Shakeh Stepanian (Abdalian), the third child of Ninish Amirkhanian (Stepanian) and Harutiun (Artin) Stepanian, was born in 1914 in Tehran. She married Sidrak Abdalian and they had two sons: Armen and Artin.
Shakeh Stepanian (Abdalian), born in 1914 in Tehran, studied at Zhandark elementary and high school, and later continued her education in Architecture. She married Sidrak Abdalian, who was a Professor of Geology in Earthquake Science, and helped him with his Persian and French writing as well as drawing mining maps. Shakeh became a second-grade teacher at the Armenian elementary school after her husband died. She had two sons, Armen and Artin, who later studied Mathematics and Solid-State Physics. Shakeh was involved in charity activities along with her mother, Ninish Amirkhanian (Stepanian), and her sister, Anik Stepanian (Avakian).
