Hajiyah Huma Khanum

Hajiyah Huma Khanum was the daughter of prince Bahaʼ al-Dawlah (son of Khazin al-Dawlah and Fath ʻAli Shah Qajar). She first married Qahraman Mirza. After his death, she married Firuz Mirza Nusrat al-Dawlah (the son of ʻAbbas Mirza, the Crown Prince). They had three children: ʻAbd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma, Najm al-Saltanah (mother of Muhammad Musaddiq), and Hazrat ʻUlya (wife of Muzaffar al-Din Shah). She died in 1886 (or 1887), one year after the death of her husband, Firuz Mirza Nusrat al-Dawlah Farmanfarma, and was buried in Najaf according to her will.

Hajiyah Huma Khanum was the daughter of Bahman Mirza Bahaʼ al-Dawlah (son of Khazin al-Dawlah and Fath ʻAli Shah Qajar). First, she married Qahraman Mirza ʻAmid al-Dawlah (son of ʻAbbas Mirza the Crown Prince). They had a son: Kiyumars Mirza (ʻAmid al-Dalwah) who later was entitled as ʻAmid al-Dawlah. After Qahraman Mirza's death, she married Firuz Mirza Nusrat al-Dawlah (son of ʻAbbas Mirza). They had three children: ʻAbd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma, Malik Taj Najm al-Saltanah (mother of Muhammad Musaddiq), Mah Samaʼ Khanum ʻIsmat al-Saltanah, and Ashraf Khanum Surur al-Saltanah (wife of Muzaffar al-Din Shah). During her Hajj pilgrimage, Hajiyah Huma Khanum made a vow to build a mosque and a school in Tehran after her return. She brought Mulla Muhammad ʻAli (one of the clerics of Najaf) and his family with her to Tehran. After returning to Tehran, she bought a piece of land near ʻAbd Al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma's garden and the construction of the school and the mosque started. These buildings were located in Sangalaj district in Tehran, in the alley of Vazir Daftar. Hajiyah Khanum also allocated some endowments for the school and the mosque. She died in 1886 (or 1887), one year after the death of her husband, Firuz Mirza Nusrat al-Dawlah Farmanfarma, and was buried in Najaf according to her will. Close
