Pictured, from the left, are: ‘Iffat (the niece of ‘Aziz Khanum who was the wife of Haj Riza Fasihi, Husayn Fasihi’s uncle), Abu al-Fazl (Kambiz), Taj Iran Zarghami (the daughter of Turan al-Dawlah and Arbab Faraj Zargham), Fattanah, ‘Abd al-Riza, Huma, and Mah Manzar (the daughter of Zarrin Taj and Arbab Faraj Zargham), and lying in the front are: Husayn Fasihi. Abu al-Fazl (Kambiz), Fattanah, ‘Abd al-Riza, and Huma are the children of Taj Iran Zarghami and Husayn Fasihi. Bashir al-Muluk was the third wife of Hasan Khan Shuja’ al-Saltanah, Turan al-Dawlah’s father.

The inscription on the recto reads: “Jajrud, December of 1962 or January of 1963, photography of Aunt Muhtaram;” according to Taj Iran Zarghami, ‘Aziz Khanum looked after Muhtaram, the daughter of her brother (Mr. Shari’at) after his wife died in childbirth. ‘Aziz Khanum’s sister, ‘Ismat Khanum, took care of Muhtaram’s sister, ‘Iffat.
