Muhammad Husayn to ‘Amid Lashkar, 1918
Envelope with Muhammad Husayn’s seal, addressed to ‘Amid Lashkar the pay master of the Qahramaniyah regiment, 2468 [Budduh in Abjad], dated August 28, 1918; the letter discusses seeing Sayf Allah Khan (the brother of Ghaffar Khan Sultan) and inquires about the well-being of the addressee and Muntasir Lashkar; mentions the unacceptable situation of the city; asks him to deliver his letter to Qavam Lashkar and to send the response via Ghaffar Khan; informs him that the writer’s daughter died that very day and he is sorrowful; mentions delivering Khan Sultan’s letter; and sends a greeting to Muntasir Lashkar.
