Settlement of Bibi Husná Jan and her daughters, 1911

Settlement of Bibi Husná Jan and her daughters, 1911

According to a previous document of inheritance and settlement, a house located in the Sang-i Siyah neighborhood of Shiraz, including the yard, trees, a well, and a kitchen, had been transferred from Mulla Lutf Allah, the son of the late Mulla Fazl‘ali, to his wife, Bibi Husná Jan, and his two daughters, Bibi Mah Tal‘at and Bibi Jiliyyah. The inheritors have divided the shares as follows: as a result of a settlement Husná Jan owns two sixths of the house and Bibi Mah Tal‘at and Bibi Jiliyyah have each inherited two sixths of the house. With some witnesses and builders present, the division arrangement was made and Bibi Husná Jan and Bibi Jiliyyah subsequently settled their shares with Bibi Mah Tal‘at in two separate documents.
