Badr Jahan Khanum

Badr Jahan Khanum, daughter of Qadir Khan Bastami, was the first wife of Fath ʻAli Shah and was eleven years old at the time of her marriage. Her first child was Humayun Khanum, known as Khanum Baji, the wife of Ibrahim Khan Zahir al-Dawlah. Her other children: Husayn ʻAli Mirza Farmanfarma, Hasan ʻAli Mirza Shujaʻ al-Saltanah, Baygum Jan Khanum, Sayyid Baygum Khanum Hamdam al-Sultan. Badr Jahan Khanum was Mahd-i ʻUlya (Nasir al-Din Shah's mother)'s grandmother.

Badr Jahan Khanum, daughter of Qadir Khan Bastami, was the first wife of Fath ʻAli Shah. After Badr Jahan Khanum's father conducted a military campaign to Damghan, he was punished and exiled by Aqa Muhammad Khan to Sari. Badr Jahan Khanum, then eleven years old, married the Crown Prince, Baba Khan (later became Fath ʻAli Shah). Her first child was Humayun Khanum, known as Khanum Baji, wife of Ibrahim Khan Zahir al-Dawlah. Her other children were: Husayn ʻAli Mirza Farmanfarma, Hasan ʻAli Mirza Shujaʻ al-Saltanah, Baygum Jan Khanum, Sayyid Baygum Khanum Hamdam al-Sultan.
