Son of Husayn‘ali Mirza Farmanfarma and husband of Nushabah Khanum (daughter of Hasan ‘Ali Mirza Shujaʻ al-Saltanah)

After Fath‘ali Shah's death, he fled Iran along with his brothers, first residing in London and later in Baghdad. In 1862 or 1863, Nushabah Khanum mediated for Taymur Mirza's return and he became Nasir al-Din Shah's Shikarchi Bashi (chief hunter). He wrote a book on birds of prey called Baz Namah (Book of Hawks), which was published in 1868 or 1869. Close
