Women's Worlds in Qajar Iran

Son of Malik Sultan Khanum and Jamshid Afshar Subataylu (Majd al-Saltanah); husband of Surayya Yushij (sister of Nima Yushij). They had a son named Tughrul, who drowned in the sea at a young age. Jalal Afshar was an entomologist and the founder of entomological and zoological studies in Karaj Agricultural College.
