Gawhar Shad Khabir Muhsini
Gawhar Shad Khabir Muhsini, daughter of Aqdas al-Muluk Mu‘izzi and ‘Ali Khabir Muhsini (Khabir al-Saltanah), was born in Astarabad, Gurgan and went to the American School. At the age of seventeen, she married ‘Ali Akbar Javidan; their children were ‘Ali Asghar, Manizhah, Muhsin, and Bahman. Gawhar Shad was an active member of the Women Society of Iran and also worked with UNICEF. She died at the age of eighty-nine.
