Rose Amirkhaniyan was the second child of Zabel Sarvarian (Amirkhanian) and Serob Khan Amirkhanian. She studied mathematics in Lausanne (Switzerland) and taught math at Armenian schools after her return to Iran. In 1947, Rose and her sister, Hirach Amirkhanian, left Iran for India in order to teach at the Armenian school of Davidiyan. Close
