Musa Khan Vaziri (Mirpanj)

d. 1886 or 1887

Musa Khan Mirpanj, the son of Lutf‘ali Khan Muhajir Vaziri, was a Caucasian immigrant to Tehran who was awarded the rank of Mirpanj in the Cossack Brigade. He left military service after Riza Shah came to power. In 1922 or 1923, he became the head of the College of Agriculture and Rural Crafts. Musa Khan married Bibi Khanum Astarabadi and their children were: Mawlud, ‘Alinaqi, Fath‘ali, Hasan‘ali, Khadijah Afzal, ‘Aliriza, and ‘Ali Asghar. He married two other times and had a daughter named Maryam Vaziri from his third wife. Musa Khan died in 1925 or 1926.
