Aqa Bala Khan Sardar (Sardar Afkham) was the aide-de-camp of Kamran Mirza Nayib al-Saltanah. His last position was the governorship of Gilan during Muhammad ʻAli Shah's reign, where he was killed. His wife was Muftakhar al-Saltanah, ʻAzud al-Mulk's niece.
