Petition (in two copies) by Aqa Hasan Aqa the merchant, a resident of Tabriz, to the preliminary court of the Justice Department in Azarbayjan (November 16, 1923) regarding Haji Baba’s belongings, which should be divided into five shares and given to the following: Aqa Hasan Aqa (the petitioner); Haji ‘Ali Akbar’s inheritors (his wife Shikar Khanum and his children: Haji Javad Aqa, Aqa Zaynal, Khadijah Khanum, and Zahra Khanum); Aqa ‘Ali Asghar’s inheritors (Aqa Riza, Kubra Khanum, and Asiyah Khanum [‘Ali Asghar’s wife] who later married Haji Baba; Mashhadi Najaf’s inheritors (Sughra Khanum, Sariyah Khanum the wife of Haji Javad, Muhsin Aqa, Mahmud Aqa, and Fatimah Khanum); and Haji Baba Aqa’s inheritors (Aqa Sulayman, Aqa Mahdi, Aqa Muhammad ‘Ali, and Rubab Khanum). Aqa Hasan Aqa requests the court’s supervision and division of Haji Baba’s belongings and a ban on any of the parties’ trespassing each other’s properties; a document on Justice Ministry letterhead (October 12, 1925) and the court order from the Ministry of Justice (August 8, 1926) refer to the petition by Aqa Hasan from Ganjah representing Mirza Javad Khan, dated November 16, 1923, about dividing Haji Baba’s business properties (described the same as above), the request to ban partners from trespassing on each other’s properties; and the order of Haji Mirza Abu al-Hasan Aqa Mujtahid.
