Letter
Letter consists of family news, including: receiving the envelope and the lamb, that Basir Nizam has not given them the money yet, that Munavvar and Fatimah were not getting along and Munavvar has gone to her father’s house, that the writer has asked Na’ib to come and get the children because of they were very upset, the request by the addressee’s sister to purchase the properties of Haji Muhammad ‘Arab across from the ‘Arab mosque, but the writer does not have the money, Hamid Aqa’s visit, asking the addressee to visit at the beginning of Muharram, that government officials receive a half-price discount for transportation, advising the addressee to contact Mirza Khalil, the head of the roads department, who plays the violin skillfully, other local news including the suffocation of Riza Quli’s father in the bath; it also sends greetings on behalf of the family, especially Sarkar ‘Illiyah Khanum and mentions that they have not seen Aqa-yi Muntasir in a while.
