Letter to ‘Amid Lashkar

Envelope addressed to ‘Amid Lashkar; letter from his aunt; she is concerned about the condition of her daughter, Sughra, from whom she has received no news since she was married off three or four years ago. She asks ‘Amid Lashkar to send a female peasant from Chibni or Zaviyah, along with Ma‘sum and Muhammad ‘Ali, to visit Sughra and convince her husband to bring her either to Tabriz, so her mother can see her, or to one of the villages in Chahar Uymaq, so ‘Amid Lashkar could oversee them. On the margin, Muntasir Lashkar confirms his sister’s request, saying that the better option would be for ‘Amid Lashkar to get her released [divorced] and send her to Tabriz.
