Letter from daughter of ‘Abd al-Husayn Khan to ‘Amid Lashkar
The envelope and two pages of the letter are sealed by ‘Abd al-Husayn Khan’s daughter and addressed to ‘Amid Lashkar; she discusses ‘Amid Sultan demanding the money they owe him; requests that ‘Amid Lashkar let her know if he cannot give her permission to handle the issues; reports the peasants’ requests and that Habib Allah can only manage his own peasants; states that she has no credit left to buy things and has transferred all her belongings to ‘Amid Lashkar; mentions the drought; asks to determine the shares of property and keep the colonel’s salary separate; she also sends greetings to the family.
