Letter from Muntasir Lashkar
Letter sealed on verso by Mahdi Muntasir Lashkar; he warns that helping to move ‘Amid Lashkar’s peasant, Iskandar, from Zaviyah village would lead to resentment between the writer, the addressee, and ‘Amid Lashkar; if Iskandar wants to relocate, the addressee should not be the cause of it. Note on verso, in different handwriting, denies taking Iskandar and advises the addressee to investigate the issue by questioning Karbalayi Muhammad ‘Ali.
