Letter from Hamid al-Sultan
Envelope bears Hamid al-Sultan’s seal and is addressed to Hamid al-Sultan’s house; in the letter, probably from Hamid al-Sultan to his wife, he talks about being preoccupied with work; not being upset with ‘Amid Lashkar and sending him his greetings; sending the souvenir she had requested via ‘Ali ‘Abbas; inquiring about Sadiqah and Safiyah and sending their package as soon as it is ready; asking about the money Akhund was supposed to give them; sending his greetings to Sarkar ‘Illiyah Khanum and ‘Alaviyah Khanum; and telling her to get the money from Haji ‘Ali Akbar, promising to send an allowance.
