Muntasir Lashkar to ‘Amid Lashkar, 1907
Letter [probably from Muntasir Lashkar to ‘Amid Lashkar] addressed to Mu‘tamad al-Sultan, discussing: his entry to Ardabil; the regiment having first camped outside of the city, but having been placed in a caravanserai due to the snow and severe cold; concern about winter in Tabriz and a food shortage, in light of which he advises them to be careful in consuming food; an inquiry about receiving grain; a request that the addressee bring some wheat to the house in case Haji Khan has not sent their share of flour; promissory notes; advice to check on the house, oversee the children’s studies, and visit Satvat al-Saltanah; and sending greetings to the addressee’s mother.
