Letter to ‘Amid Lashkar
Probably from Muntasir Lashkar to ‘Amid Lashkar; reporting: Mirza Abu Turab Khan’s study of the Gulistan; taking 25 tumans from Shahzadah Dara and giving it to Mirza Abu Turab Khan’s mother, who gave 5 tumans to the writer and spent the rest for a Rawzah Khvani ceremony, etc; Sitvat al-Saltanah sending a lamb for Mirza Abu Turab Khan; Muhammad ‘Ali’s stipend; Mirza Abu Turab Khan’s mother asking the addressee to write to Mashhadi Muhammad Aqa asking to give them 15 tumans as a monthly allowance for household expenses, the allowances of Mahdi Khan and Hasan Khan, the servants’ stipends, etc.; that the 3-4 tuman allowance he receives from Mirza Abu Turab Khan’s mother is not enough for his expenses in Tabriz and that he is in debt; the necessities for winter, such as charcoal and oil; Mirza Abu Turab Khan’s waiting for the addressee’s letter; and sending the greetings of ‘Azimat Khanum and Zahra Sultan Khanum.
