‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk to Surur al-Saltanah
‘Abd al-Husayn Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk (Taymurtash)’s writes to Surur al-Saltanah and expresses his longing for her. He tells her that this is one of the worst nights of his life filled with sadness as he has received the last letter from his father from Khurasan telling him about his illness. Mu‘azzaz al-Mulk talks about how he has not been able to see Surur in Tehran and now he has to go back to Khurasan heartbroken and mournful. He urges Surur to write more often and not to wait for his letter before writing to him, as it would take a long time for his letters to get to her; this letter is accompanied by its envelope.
