Compilation of letters and prayers
Several pieces of correspondence, some in Arabic, some in Persian, one addressed to “6” and one to “53.” Three have dates: the first letter is addressed to “Mu‘azzamah ‘Izz” [probably his sister ‘Izziyah Khanum], dated 20 May 1883 [13 Rajab 1300], not in Subh-i Azal’s handwriting; possibly a different person has copied all these letters, since the entire set has one kind of handwriting and one color of ink (except for the seventh letter) and is organized as a booklet. The second piece seems to be a prayer. The third is addressed to “53.” The fourth is possibly a prayer, but starts by saying “to be seen by his highness Shaykh.” The fifth is possibly another prayer. The sixth is dated 1 June 1883 (25 Rajab 1300) and the seventh is another letter, dated 16 July 1883 (11 Siam 1300).
