Women's Worlds in Qajar Iran

Shaykh (Muhammad) Sadiq Najmabadi, the son of Maryam Najmabadi and Aqa Hasan Najmabadi, was born in 1856 or 1857. His first wife Zahra (Yuna) and their children were named (Muhammad) Husayn and Kazim. His second wife was Ruqiyah Najmabadi and their children were Musa, Khadijah, and ‘Isa. Shaykh Sadiq then married Sitarah Khatun and they had a son named ‘Ali Asghar. His fourth wife was Zubaydah Khanum Najmabadi and their children were: ‘Ismat, Isma‘il, ‘Imad, Ishaq, Hasan, ‘Iffat, and Musa. Shaykh Sadiq Najmabadi died in 1935 and was buried at Shaykh Hadi Mausoleum in Tehran.
