Husn-i Jan Khanum
Daughter of ‘Abd al-Khaliq; wife of Sultan Muhammad Ibrahim Mirza Mu‘izzi; their children: ‘Abd al-Baqi Mirza, Sultan Majid Mirza, and two daughters who died in childhood.
Husn-i Jahan Khanum's father, ‘Abd al-Khaliq, a chief in Savujbulagh-i Mukri (Mahabad), was killed by his cousin over an inheritance dispute. Her mother died at childbirth when she was born, and Husn-i Jahan Khanum was raised by her sister and nanny. At the age of five, she was kidnapped along with a gourp of other children and was sent to Tabriz, where some of them were purchased by Crown Prince Muzaffar al-Din Shah and others. The rest were sent to Tehran and Husn-i Jahan Khanum was purchased by Pasha Khan to become the playmate of his younger daughter, Saltanat Khanum (Muhtaram al-Dawlah). When she was thirteen or fourteen, Sitarah Khanum (Pasha Khan's wife) married her off to her brother, Sultan Ibrahim.
