Women's Worlds in Qajar Iran

‘Abd al-‘Ali Vaziri, the son of Nusrat Khanum and ‘Abd Allah Vaziri, was born in 1911 or 1912. He sang traditional Iranian music; his training in singing and playing the Tar started at the age of 12 at the school of music, which was founded by his paternal cousin, ‘Alinaqi Vaziri. ‘Abd al-‘Ali Vaziri died on May 25,1989.
