Women's Worlds in Qajar Iran

Shayistah Khanum Jahanbani, the daughter of Yadullah Mirza and Bilqays Muʻayyiri, was the wife of Mirza Mahdi Khan, and the niece of Mirza ʻIsa Vazir. She had four children and died at a young age. Three of her children, Hadi, Mah Liqaʼ, and Mah Talʻat, remained childless, but the fourth, Mah Rukhsar, married Mirza ʻAli Khan Hikmati (the son of Banan Humayun) and had the following children: Parviz, Mahmud, Mihri, Parvin (wife of Ismaʻil Zahid), Munir (wife of Riza Hikmati), and Nasrin (wife of ʻAbbas Jalinusi)
