Letter regarding inheritance
Letter (on letterhead of ‘Asr-i jadid newspaper) addressed to Mirza Ahmad who was the executor of the will of the writer’s parents. Upon Mirza Ahmad and Khalah Jan’s advice, the writer’s share was given to Fakhr Taj Khanum to be returned to the writer when they reached the legal age. However, Fakhr Taj Khanum has not returned the share and the writer is asking for Mirza Ahmad’s help. At the end, the writer compares this favor to buying and then freeing a slave for Aqa ‘Abd al-‘Ali.
