Sale document of Maryam Khanum, 1865
Sale document between Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin Kalantar [sheriff] with the power of attorney from his wife, Maryam Khanum (daughter of Aqa Muhammad Ja‘far), and Mirza Sayyid Ghulamhusayn and Haj Sayyid Mirza (son of Mirza Hasan) over one-sixth of Zia’ Abad farm near Narmashir in addition to a date garden and three kharvars [unit of weight] wheat and barley in exchange for one hundred and ten tumans. Later, Haj Sayyid Mirza sells his half of the above property to the orderlies of Muhammad Ibrahim Khan Sarhang [colonel] for fifty-five tumans. After the transaction with Mirza Sayyid Ghulamhusayn is revoked, Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin (on behalf of his wife) sells the second half to the orderlies of Muhammad Ibrahim Khan for seventy tumans.
