Petition to replace underage children's guardian, 1905
Petition written by Bibi Sughra Sultan, daughter of the late Muhammad Kazim Qannadi [baker of sweets] and one of wives of the late Haji Muhammad ‘Alaqah-band’s [the silk dealer] from Shiraz (son of Haj Muhammad Karim ‘Alaqah-band), to Haji Shaykh Yahya, the prayer leader of Fars, about inadequacy of Hajiyah Zivar Sultan, daughter of Haji Muhammad Hasan Salih and one of the late Haji Muhammad ‘Alaqah-band’s wives, in handling the responsibilities of the deceased Haji’s underage children and the request to replace Hajiyah Zivar Sultan as the children’s guardian. The receiver of the petition replaces Hajiyah Zivar Sultan with Bibi Sughra Sultan, the children’s mother, based on twelve individuals’ testimonies on the petition.
