Nisa’ Baygum Jan's settlement, 1910
Settlement between Nisa’ Baygum Jan, daughter of the late Fath‘ali, and her four great great-granddaughters, Mah Sultan, Fatimah, Gawhar (daughters of Lutf‘ali), and Khanum (daughter of Nasr Allah), exchanging one-third of a building for one hundred dinars and some wheat. She also settled one-twelfth of the same building with Nayib Muhammad Ibrahim, son of Haji Muhammad Baqir, and Mirza Muhammad, son of Haji ‘Abd Allah, in exchange for one hundred dinars and some wheat, on the condition that they spend five tumans of the monetary value of the property on the Mulla Muhsin mosque and the rest for ta‘ziyah, fasts and prayers, and charity after Nisa’ Baygum Jan’s death; dated October 19, 1910. On the margin, dated February 5[?], 1911: after both Nisa’ Baygum Jan and Nayib Muhammad Ibrahim passed away, Baygum Khanum, daughter of Nayib Muhammad Ibrahim, settled her father’s share from the above building with Mirza Muhammad in exchange for one hundred dinars and some wheat, on the condition that he spend the monetary value of that share on the costs related to Nisa’ Baygum Jan’s death.
