Marriage agreement of Fatimah and Ahmad, 1883
Marriage agreement of Fatimah, daughter of Ibrahim son of Sadiq from Khuzan, and Ahmad, son of Karbalayi Haydar son of Sadiq from Khuzan. The mahr includes twenty-six tumans and two thousand five hundred dinars, one-twelfth of a house in the Shamsabad neighborhood of Khuzan, a share of water in Andan village, land in Andan village, and ten tumans to buy gold and earrings. Additionally, ten tumans will be paid for the bridal gift and two sets of proper women’s clothes. The groom’s father settled the share of the house mentioned, and the groom’s mother, Husni Jan, settled the shares of water and land property with the groom. He then made them parts of the mahr.
