Marriage agreement of Hishmat and Barat ʻAli, 1883
Marriage agreement of Hishmat, daughter of Mirza son of Sayyid Ibrahim, and Barat ʻAli, son of Mashhadi Sulayman from Khuzan. The mahr includes twenty-six tumans and two thousand five hundred dinars, sixty tumans to buy a house for the bride, eighty tumans to buy land for the bride, and seventeen tumans to buy gold and earrings. Additionally, fifteen tumans will be paid for the bridal gift and to buy rugs and two sets of proper women’s clothes.
