According to the inscription, the following are pictured (from left): standing: Aqa Mardak Khan, Agha ‘Abd Allah Khan, Agha Davud Khvajah; seated: Agha Muhammad Khan, the son of Fakhr al-Mulk, Habib Allah Khan, Jalal al-Mulk, Muhammad ‘Alikhan, Hajib al-Dawlah, and Tavvab ‘Azud al-Dawlah; the inscription reads: “the day of the Ash (soup) making ceremony at Surkhah Hisar, October 15, 1892.”
