A group of musicians of the Nasiri court accompanying Nasir al-Din Shah in one of his trips near Tehran; according to the inscription, pictured, from the left, areL Muhammad Sadiq, the Santur player and son of Muttalib, the Kamancheh player; Ghulam Bachchah [the servant]; in front of him: Husayn Khan Churti; in front of Husayn Khan: Ghulamriza Khan, and Ghulam Husayn.‌ Other inscriptions: “[the photograph] was taken at one of the mountains of Siapalas where His Majesty had traveled in August or September of 1869, along with his companions. A high mountain above the Siapalas spring. To the south of the mountain are strange rocks and a cliff.”
