Marriage contract of Umm Kulsum Khanum and Ahmad Aqa, 1883
Marriage contract of Ummah [Umm] Kulsum Khanum, the daughter of Haji Muhammad Isma‘il Arbab, and Haji Ahmad Aqa, the son of Muhammad Husayn Arbab. The mahr is five hundred tumans and a copy of the Qur’an, which remains the groom’s debt. According to a note on the first page, dated 1902, Umm Kulsum Khanum settled her mahr and all her rights with Haji Ahmad Aqa in exchange for three hundred tumans.
