Settlement of Karbalayi Husayn and Zahra Khanum, 1897
Karbalayi Husayn, the son of ‘Abd Allah, has sold one year’s use of the water from parts of a qanat in the village of Milan to Zahra Khanum in exchange for three tumans and the settlement fee of seven thousand and two hundred dinars (1897); this contract has been renewed twice, for a one-year period each time, in 1898 and 1900, with a settlement fee of four tumans.
