Affidavit of people of ʻAjabshir and Shishavan, 1859
Affidavit from residents of the villages of ʻAjabshir and Shishavan regarding Malik Qasim Mirza’s sale of a sixth of Shishavan village to Zaynab Khanum. The document reads, in part, “Due to the call of Zaynab Khanum, the mentioned people from villages ʻAjabshir and Shishavan have all confirmed her claim that when Malik Qasim Mirza was still alive, he acknowledged to them that he had contendedly sold a sixth of Shishavan village to Zaynab Khanum, and that this property belongs to her […]. After Mirza Hasan and Karbalayi Haydar’s testimony and based on all other evidence, it became clear that the claim is true.”
