My Dear Mrs Platt,

You will think it a long time before I have found the stamps, but it is true that not until this a.m. did they turn up. I am also sending some that came on a letter to us from Bombay and one from Karachi. I do not have many letters especially now but when one comes I will remember to save the stamps.

[page 2, right side of image 40] A cable has come [to her Badu?] here that the Caldwells with the children sailed from America May 21st so they are well on their way now. I believe Mr C’s cousin is coming with them she is a teacher in whose house they lived in America & will probably keep the two little rascals busy. They are the loveliest brightest little boys you ever saw.

Mr DeLambert Mrs C’s brother is also coming with them, but they will get here in the most uncomfortable time [page 3, left side of image 40] of the year especially for Mrs C. who minds the hot weather very much. The autumn is the best time to arrive here not earlier than the middle of September unless one can go to the suburban summer resort when late in the winter, Feb, or March is a good time.

We 4 are all very well indeed. I have just sent a long letter to Miss Straiton [indented line under sentence] 165 W. 82. N.Y. since I wrote it hurriedly I cannot say that there is anything in it you would care for, but [page 4, left side of image 39] still you might ask her for it.
