Receiving the stipend by Ashraf al-Saltanah and Bihjat al-Dawlah, 1895
The document reads: “The guardians of Astan-i Quds received ten coins, each worth two thousand, for the stipends for this year on behalf of myself, Ashraf al-Saltanah, and for Bihjat al-Dawlah, who are servants of Astan-i Quds; five coins are for Ashraf al-Saltanah and five for Bihjat al-Dawlah.” On the margin: “three tumans issued as financial draft by the chief treasurer.” Dated November or December 1895.
