Karbalayi Sakinah's stipend, 1895 or 1896
The document reads: “I have received, for the stipend of Karbalayi Sakinah, the mother of ʻAli Akbar, 10 mans [each man is three kilograms] of barley, and I wrote this as a receipt of it.” [on margin:] “Muqarrab al-Khaqan, the brother of the treasurer should give [the barley] as he has been told.”
