Affidavit, 1853
The document reads, in part: “It is stated that Khanum Buzurg, the daughter of the deceased Muhammad ʻAli Khan [from] Dawdangah and the wife of Sayyid Muhammad (son of the deceased Sayyid Jaʻfar Razavi), has passed away. Her inheritors are two daughters and a son. She had inherited belongings (cows, sheep, and some properties) from her father. Now that the guardian of these children is their father, Sayyid Muhammad, the property inherited by the children should be given to him. Whoever knows about the truth of these lines should write their name and seal on the verso in order for this document to be valid before the religious judges and trusted people. September 5, 1853.” Affiants have written on the margin.
