One of the houses of the late Qajar period (early 20th c.), located in the Sahl ibn ‘Ali neighborhood in Yazd. The house belonged to Haj Mirza Kazim Rasuliyan and its architect: Ustad Hasan Muhammad Rahim. Both Andaruni and Biruni consist of several interconnected courtyards.

    The Endowment plaque on the wall of one of the buildings reads: “This house was endowed to Yazd University on November 11, 1990 and after some major repairs by the university, an opening was held on February 18, 1991, the birthday of Imam Husayn (PBUH). Endower: the heirs of the late Haj Mirza Kazim Rasuliyan, date of construction: 1904, area: 1340 square meters, building area: 1000 square meters, architect: Ustad Hasan Muhammad Rahim.”

    This building currently houses the University’s Architecture Department. On January 4, 1997, the National Heritage Organization registered this building as a national monument (with the registration number 1830).
