Marriage contract between Sakinah Khanum and Aqa Muhammad Saʻid, 1825

Marriage contract between Sakinah Khanum, the daughter of Aqa Muhammad Sadiq, and Aqa Muhammad Saʻid, the son of Aqa Ismaʻil, dated April or May 1825. The mahr is 60 tumans, a female slave worth 21 tumans, four sixths of a building in Fath Abad, two pieces of land in Vadasht, and a garden in Fath Abad. On the verso [Sakinah Khanum], has transferred a piece of land (with an area of 25 qafiz) in Vadasht, along with its crops and hay, to Muhammad Baqir, the son of Mirza Kazim the physician, in exchange for another piece of land (with an area of 7 qafiz) that includes a garden in the desert/land close to the mentioned brook. This settlement was signed on January 13, 1843 by Aqa Zayn al-ʻAbidin, the son of Haj Saʻid, and Aqa Muhammad, the son of Karbalayi Hasan, the second husband of Sakinah Khanum. Aqa Mirza Muhammad (the brother of Sakinah Khanum) and Aqa Mirza Muhammad (the son of Mirza Sharif) are the witnesses.
