Fatimah Jadid al-Islam and her female companion's petitions

Fatimah Jadid al-Islam and her female companion's petitions

A petition from Fatimah Jadid al-Islam Bukani, a former [Christian] Armenian who had recently converted to Islam, in which she discusses the promise given to her and her female companion to receive compensation after her conversion. She also mentions that she was assured that she would be relocated from the Armenian village of Armani Bulaghi to Sayf al-Din Khan’s village, so that she could be safe from people’s bitter words after her conversion and that she was promised funds for her living expenses. She notes that none of these promises were fulfilled. The other document is the petition of Fatimah Jadid al-Islam’s female companion, who complains about their not having received any of the promised compensation despite several petitions to Tehran, stating that due to their poverty, they will not survive if the status quo persists.
