Information from the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art at Shangri La: Rosewater sprinkler: the delicate rib pattern that encircles the neck and base of this bottle was mold-blown, a technique that was commonly used in Iran to decorate glass in the 19th century. Purchased at auction, 1956.
