According to Parvin Saham-lashgari, the ewer and basin originally belonged to ‘Ali Muhammad Lashgar-nivis, the paternal grandfather of Parvin, then belonged to her cousin, Havva Sahami (also her mother-in-law), and, later, Havva’s mother, who eventually passed it down to Parvin.
