First and last pages of a Qur’an inscribed with birth records and genealogy. Opening two pages have following birth dates recorded: Sadiqah Khanum Mahin Banu, 12 Shavval 1334 [11 August 1916]; Sultan Ahmad Khan, 29 Sha‘ban 1336 [9 June 1918]; Nush Afarin, 7 Sha‘ban 1358/22 September 1939/30 Shahrivar 1318 in India; Parviz, 1 August 1928 [10 Murdad 1307]; ‘Alimurad, 3 Bahman 1327 [23 January 1949], Isfahan; Amir Khusraw 5 Aban 1333/28 October 1955/11 Rabi al-Avval [1375], Tehran. A following page indicates the Qur’an originally belonged to Muhammad Mahdi ibn Farrukh Ghaffari. On the last page, there is a genealogy of Ghaffari that goes back to Abuzar Ghaffari, dated 10 Ramazan 1298 AH [6 August 1881].
